For tonight's beginner run we had 3 beginners. Though beginners might be too strong a word. They are certainly new to canicross, and they had told us that they were runners. About 3/4 of the way round we discover that means that they have all competed in at least one Ironman competition.
So between not having any actual novice runners, and my borrowing a friend's dog while the friend ran ahead of us I managed to complete our regular run in 33m 34s.
Oh. And I've been trialling contact lenses for about a week and wore those tonight for the first time running in the dark (and the rain). It was great. I could see the ground, and I didn't have to carry my head torch in my hand at all.
