Well last year I seem to hit a hard time with running. Instead of getting faster I started to go slower.

This year I started a running club. I seem to be getting into a new mental attitude with the running. I'm the slowest in the running club. Someone has to be don't they and the only way is up. They tell me uphill training helps. Which I have no idea what this means.

Locally our Parkrun was cancelled due to 10 trees being blown down in the storm Doris on Thursday. So me and my running mate travelled to our next nearest Parkrun. I it was harder but each week I seem to be knocking off a few more seconds of my time.

I have no idea how to improve my speed. We run a longer distance at the club than I'm used to. When I started I didn't think I could run the entire route each week but I am.

Positive thinking. I tried running a little fast each other tree. Might try that again next week but at my local one.

Thats interval training! Really good for improving stamina and speed. Stick with it, you are doing great 🏃🏻‍♀️ Also try some hill training. Good luck runner 😀🏃🏻‍♀️
