1 X 28 minute running

.

8 PM run

.

Last night was windy with 17 mph headwind.

Every.Single.Time! Our weather has to offer something new and exciting(!) everyday!

.

I have to put my shoes on, get out of the house and stand in the middle of the pavement. Look up and down, front and back before deciding the tune to play or where to go and start warming up for 5 minutes.

If I don't get out first, I would start to argue with myself and will take me half hour to get out.

.

Once decided, It is just really really tough for the first two minuites, I guess it's my body's way of saying, "What the flipping is happening right now!".

.

Then a rhythm sets in. My body gives up. Mind takes over. Numbness all around. I can start to hear music again. :D

.

Today was Laurie Taylor on Radio 4, THINKING ALLOWED. It really opens up your liberal left wing mind if you happen to listen to Cold War era decisions in the middle of a strenuous activity such as this. :P

.

Anyway, pointless mucking about aside, W8R3 here I come! :)

.

Of course, what impression did I give, that I am going to stop, NO WAY! :D

Yea I just finished w8r2 too and I still don't know if I like running. I look forward to it the day I don't run but with my run day, the closer I get to doing it, the less enthusiastic I begin to feel. Funny because I look forward to wine and a G&T and a family bag of dry roasted peanuts......
