I was always a walker, now the lower calfs get very tight. Also my feet start to tingle, numb like. Ive had 2 back surgeries and am very careful .

Are you doing c25k, if so what stage are you at?

The numb/tingling feet is usually a case of your shoes being too tight, often just loosening the lacing will help with this.

I agree, when I started I was wearing my ordinary trainers and I suffered from tingling in both feet. A change to good fitting running shoes cured that thankfully! Hopefully it will for you too...
