Welcome! Stick to the plan, go slow and steady, and you'll be fine. We're all here if you need advice and to cheer you on. Good luck!
Welcome aboard!
Perfect! I signed up for a run with some colleagues before starting, it gives you a goal and keeps you accountable. And it's fun! Keep it slow and steady and you'll be fine.
Welcome Listen to all the advice and take it nice and slow and you will be fine!!
As I mentioned in another post.. just enjoy your first "race", don't worry about times or pace and if run it all then fine or if you run/walk that's also fine!
Hi I am new too, I am doing W2R2 this evening. I find this forum great and really friendly. Good luck.
That's a great added incentive, to have signed up for a 5k. You have plenty of time before then for c25k to work its magic 😊
Slow and steady does it. Post often, and enjoy!
Good luck with the programme and don't forget to share with us how your runs go. You'll get loads of support and encouragement in the forum.
I'm new to c25k too and have received great support so far from the lovely folk on here. I've done my first two sessions this week and slow and steady is the key.
Like the idea of a 5k as a goal to aim for. I've heard a lot about the park runs. I have a local one in Wicksteed Park, but I'll have a look out for something too.
Good luck
