Well, actually made it out once on Saturday and can you believe it I was out on a run at 5.45 this morning!!!! Just slow 5k runs that took about 38/39 minutes - cold start but actually ended up nice (so tough to get out... but worth it 10 minutes in)... maybe try lunchtime on Wednesday or Thursday..

That is early! But it makes you feel so great for the rest of the day.

Better when a bit more light though.

Well done you, early and in the cold! Sounds likes you're a seasoned runner and happy to be getting back into it. Great work.

I used to be - let it slip though (Trying to remember the good feelings from a few years ago.....) those rare moments on your own on a 9 to 12 mile run through the country lanes when your just out there for you - took it for granted back then..

Now there's something I've never experienced! The idea of 9 miles seems a bit of a pipe dream at the moment but, then again, so did 5k when I started the programme! So maybe one day... :)

Wow, Brighton marathon - the thought of running those hills makes me want to keel over! Keep us informed of your progress. I'll use it as something to aspire to. :)
