As my park run is beside me, I walk into it. (lol all both times that I've done it!!!) Or perhaps more honestly half jog into it, as I cut my time a bit tight! (Having been up between 4 & 6:30am, at which point I decided to have my breakfast as it was a full 3 hours before the PR. Ate, back to bed, set the alarm for 8:15, up walked the dog and back in for the PR.)
Last week I ran with 15 other runners in my home town parkrun, today I ran with 514 others! Some difference.
Today on my way home I decided to do week 3 of the strength and flex podcasts, thus it took me longer to walk home than usual, but doing it outside in my running gear, felt more comfortable than when I've done it outside other times, and I didn't care that I was standing pushing against trees, or doing squats by the side of the path!
For me it's definitely a great way to finish the parkrun.
