Hope you're all having a great New Year's Eve and looking forward to the new year. Madge disappeared and this weirdy beardy sort turned up at parkrun this morning, in new trail shoes.....(?!).......seeing that he'd borrowed Irish-John 's FKT, we put him in as tail runner........π
Curlygurly2 arrived looking for Madge, to see her new trail shoes......(?!)......don't know where she had got to.....π...but that meant CG could beat Madge! Hurrah!
Lovely morning, lots of fun, back tomorrow for the parkrun New Year's Day special!
Happy New Year and happy running all! π

Very impressed that "weirdy-beardy" managed to run at all in that lot! Given Irish-John 's flowing locks and FKT, maybe he has left the delights of the USA for murky England?
Ha, ha, nearly had to use a pony tail band to keep the hair under control, not to mention holding the skirt up for the 'sprint' finish (not), plus keeping the FKT from jiggling about......π
Yes you can, health and safety hazard that, every time I looked down the hair all came down like a curtain and I couldn't see where I was going, had to do girly hair flicks all the way round! π
Ahh, they went well, (this is the secret bit....π) being tail runner it was a practice run, and a good look at the course......so I can sort that cheeky Curlygurly2 out tomorrow........don't tell her will you....ππ
Love it! Sounds like you had a great time although how the weirdy-beardy stuff stayed on is a mystery to me Hope the new trail shoes helped the time pass quickly. Happy New Year
Thanks RG, happy new year to you too, there were a few strategically placed pins and hair grips......π....the shoes will get a better test tomorrow.....but so far so good.....
Thank you for the biggest smile on my face in what seems like forever Wish I could write more fully but time and internet access severely limited here where I am in Ireland right now. Will look forward to when I can respond at more length and in the meantime best wishes and many happy miles to you
