End of year assessment

I don't normally do this - but seeing as how I have read others accounts elsewhere of how far they had run in a year, I decided to add up my totals for 2016. So - that came to 930 klms and 2738 klms since 01 Jan 2014. Considering that I am now 70, had never run at all really before early 2014, I am well pleased with myself. I would be stupid to say that I have seen no improvement - however my paces are much the same as in the beginning - maybe a little faster but I have well and truly created an ingrained running habit!!! If I was to lose it now for whatever reason, I would feel like I have lost a limb :)

brilliant - fantastic total! I'm tempted to count mine but it will be a LOT less than that! Might give me incentive to increase distance for 2017 though.
