Hi all.

Just a line to say thank you to everyone on the forum who embraced the idea of a virtual Parkrun together! Hasn't it been great fun to see all of the posts and photos from across this country and further afield including Australia, Canada, America etc?

For my own Parkrun we did it as a family, myself and son ran together, I got a personal best, he got a personal worst teehee. My hubby and daughter walked the course together..........a great achievement as during recent months both have had major surgery. This is the furthest my daughter has been able to walk in a long time and all down to her new kidney and her own sheer determination! Seeing the two of them do so well is the best Christmas present ever!

It's a tough course, the photo above shows the start, yes a lovely great hill, one of many! It starts way down the bottom there and we have further to go to the top!

Wishing all a happy and healthy 2017.

Stay running! 👍🏼🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻

Wow Jacs what a photo, and how proud must you be of your family and yourself with your shiny new PB!

So very happy for you and grateful too, for all the effort put into sorting the Virtual Parkrun. Sadly I was too ill to run, but it's been an absolute joy reading everyone's posts. Well done m'dear xx

That must have been great, and especially great for your daughter. I didn't run yesterday but sneaked out in the sunshine this morning.

I didn't manage the virtual park run as my virus just won't go! Its been lovely to see everyone's posts though :) My graduation is looking a little distant.. Hoping to get back on c25k this week, taking it slowly.

Yes it was great jacs! Didn't get any photos unfortunately as I was on my own. It was my 1st parkrun as well and want really thinking of photos, just getting it finished! Well done to you and especially to your daughter who it sounds like has done extremely well.
