For Irish-John , McFitty , Pc59 , Lee337 , Irishprincess and all of you other busy bees out there, this post is for EVERYONE on this forum -
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work - - it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
Happy Christmas everyone, happy running and I hope that you all find peace this Christmas, even if it is amongst noisy children and grandchildren! XXX

Aw, lovely post Flossie 😊 I'm just back from a run and it was gorgeous and thought about the fab people on here. I hope you're bearing up on the IC and have a very happy Christmas x
Thank you IP. Yes, having a great time, done my "kitchen workout" as McFitty said, earlier today, now working on a little surprise for all your lovelies out there! Sshhh . . . it might take me a little while though! x
Thank you Flossie22 and the same for you, too. I've just got back from a few days helping with a house move with no time to think about peace or not but am looking forward to a calmer, albeit busy, time with family over Christmas.
Oh that is so kind, Jan! I do hope so! I actually managed to get my 18 year old to be my "fetchermite" at lunch time and I made the mince pies, with him getting all the ingredients out, and me making the pastry, rolling it and cutting it out, it was actually very therapeutic, and now we have home made mince pies for Christmas Eve - yum! x
I am going to see my Mam Christmas Day / Boxing Day at her nursing home and then spending the rest of the time at home . Only have a couple of days off work , but anytime off is welcome
Hope you have a great Christmas and thank you for all the laughter and joy you bring to the forum xxx
