Since starting running a couple of years ago I have made it a date to take part in the 10k Santa run in Southsea. This year was made difficult as I have hardly run at all in the past few months as I was on a 5 week dream holiday (I did take my running stuff and managed to get out twice), then once back, twisted my ankle, earlier this week. So today was interesting. My other half was trying to persude me to abandon the run, but I couldn't do that. In the event, I did it, with an OK time (for me) despite 2,500 other Santas around me. Runkeeper loyally told me that today was my 43rd fastest 5-6 mile workout. I then looked at Samsung's S Health app, which told me I should be more active after having achieved 75 minutes of walking....and one minute of running. I know I wasn't the fastest, but.....cheek!

Way to go! I'd have a hard time saying no to a fun run like that. How did the ankle hold up?
Brilliant photo and post ! Great determination . Can't trust fancy gizmo's . You'd be better off putting your faith in Sanata Claus !
And you did and look where it got you !
Again well done !

Boo to Samsung! I'd believe Runkeeper if I were you.
Glad the ankle was ok.

How very dare it! I tell my Garmin I'm running just so it isn't rude like that! Looks great fun!

Well done! I rarely hear of anyone who regrets a run, the time doesn't matter 😀 We did the Santa run in Reading last weekend and it was a blast!
