Just completed my second run of this week - felt very slow and very cold. Anyone else run slower on chilly days like today? Still, I was glad to complete it.
Does anyone else use the One You C25K app? I have upgraded my phone this week and while the app itself transferred to my new device, I am going to lose the data contained within it - stuff like the dates of my runs and the star rating. I have been keeping a diary, so it is not really a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone knew a work around so that the data can be transferred?
Keep up the good work everyone

I used to run slowly, mainly because I had to at the start! Then after that, just paced myself and built up slowly. Wearing the right gear helps... warming stuff on radiator before leaving, making sure I and my muscles were warm too.. I run slowly now, usually because I am busy looking round at everything as I run
It is hard, and breathing can be difficult in the cold, which is where a buff helps Just take it one step at a time, and as long as you warm up.. the speed does not matter
It was minus degrees here two weeks ago. I was out with my group 10 mins chat/ registration 50 mins jog and 10 mins chat and cool down. We were out for the same time but covered less distance. It was sooooo cold!
My leg muscles were painful most of the night and despite having hot shower I couldn't heat up! ..... success came in the form of thermals long sleeved etc from Primark cheap and they work! Wind especially cold wind slows you down too - out last night and at times felt as if I wasn't moving 😹
