Well that's week 2 done and I've surprised myself with sticking at it when it's cold and dark.
Terrified of Week 3 though and the sudden increase to 3 minutes - oh eck! I can't run any slower or I'll be walking. Oh well, will just have to see what Friday brings x

I was similarly terrified the whole way through the program but managed every session (just) without having to repeat any, so I think it's very well thought out and mostly doable!
Trust the rest of us when we say we know EXACTLY what you feel...and then do what we did Go out the Front door and just run, it will either be a 'success' day or a 'practice' day...but once you go out that door there is no 'failure'
Yes, I remember that feeling, but then . . . Your body just does it . . . And the sense of achievement is so worth it! Take it slow and steady and you'll be just fine. 😊
No need to be terrified. Just take it one step at a time and you'll be fine
Well done for getting to week 3. Running really slowly is the secret to success as your body builds up in strength and stamina. It's that running motion that does it. So keep it up and as long as you're moving it's ok!
As everyone says take it slow and steady and trust the programme. You will be successful. I was terrified, had never run in my life and completed the programme and enjoyed it! I am still going out for runs. If I can do it, anyone can. Don't look ahead just look back and see what you gave done already.
