I gave them an outing this evening.

When I was a wee girl, my mother insisted that any new clothes or shoes had to be "kept good" for ages before I could just wear them when I wanted. At 50, I still get a sneaky thrill from wearing brand new things straight away. If you see my mum don't tell her what I've been up to...
