First 5K on Wk8

I'm on week 8, though only did one run this week rather than two as easing off ahead of my first ever 5K at the Chasewater Christmas Pudding Dash. I'm enjoying the programme, and find Laura really encouraging, but I've had some tough training runs too. So I was thrilled to run all the way round this morning and finish feeling comfortable, I even managed to pick up the speed in the last K. I don't know my official time yet, but I think it was just over 30 mins, which for a 46yr old woman I don't think is half bad!

If you're still on C25K programme I hope you're enjoying it; but if you are struggling don't give up - the programme does work and you can do it!

Thanks All - my time is in, and it's 32.39 - I'm really pleased with that for my first effort. I came 79th out of 203 finishers on the 5K, so not bad for an old bird! :-)
