Well I managed it 😊 My friend has decided it's not for her so Week 2 starts on my own, which has its benefits.

Well done for completing week 1. It's a shame your friend has decided not to go ahead, but you'll be able to take things at your own pace, and there are plenty of lively people in this forum to share your runs with. I've found this group really 'otivating and supportive. I'm sure you will too. Good luck for week 2. πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Well done for getting through that first week! It's a shame your friend has decided it's not for her but I guess honest too. Good luck with week two and remember to keep taking it steady at this stage - and don't forget to keep posting here for support and inspiration as well!πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸ»

Well done. I think being able to just get on with the run and not having to think about what someone else is doing has a lot to be said for for doing this. Enjoy week 2!

Let us be your cyber running mates. The good thing about us is you don't have to talk to us WHILE running so you can save all your puff for running and talk to us when you're back on the couch!

All the best with your new life as a runner! x

Yes it does. No waiting or having to fit in with other folks. Also, I think, it's easier doing it on your own as you can concentrate on yourself. You need to concentrate for C25k so I think you'll do just fine. Good for you for carrying on.

Take care! Go steady. Slow is best.
