...that when I got to my usual start point near the river I discovered I'd forgotten to download the podcast and my hair grips/hair band. Thankfully I had enough signal and set off to enjoy the foggy river and didn't get too annoyed by flying hair! Think I spent most of the run wondering what the science is behind the 20 minutes of week 5 run 3 and then dropping back again to run/walk but found I'd gone further than I ever have, around 3.8km I think. It's not fantastic but I'm a very tubby short 40-something who has never before enjoyed exercise and it's 3.8km more than on the sofa π
