And Run 1 went really well! I couldn't believe I was running for 5mins let alone 5mins x3! I had thought to give it a go and if I couldn't do it I would just repeat W4, now I've done it I'm looking forward to Run 2. The only problem I'm getting is back ache the following morning, it does wear off during the day but is very sore first thing. I have checked my posture whilst running, the way I'm running etc and have a feeling this isn't uncommon, so I'm hoping it will start to right itself, once I get used to running (or slow jogging in my case)
Started Wk5..: And Run 1 went really well! I... - Couch to 5K

Well done , I've started week 7 and in disbelief that I'm doing this, even if I've a bad run I keep going it challenges me and funny I wanted to give up at 10 mins this am but settled to a rhythm and completed 25 mins !!
The aches are all over even when I drive from park and get out of car I'm aching but it does pass once or twice I've taken an extra rest day and maybe get in a light walk between runs , I'm very much a novice so not much help to you
No that's fine, thanks for your reply - well done on getting to Wk7, I do alot of biking and get back ache then so its probably just something I have to put up with. As you say the aches and pains are all over but I'm certainly not going to stop now as I can feel the benefits already at on WK5, so I'll be sensible with my rest days.Good luck with all your runs
