Oh I'm tired tonight!!! Decided to change my route tonight for week8 run 3 unfortunately roads & pavements look flat until you run them!!! Ok small steady inclines but it slowed me down only managed 2.04mls in 30 mins... Maybe should have stuck to just 28mins but was trying to speed up but am really struggling to get faster. After cool down did keep walk /run a bit more(just to get home quicker ha ha) ended up with a total of 3.5mls. I'm chuffed I can go for 30mins so hoping but end of programme might get to 4k!!! Maybe try down hill routes!!!! Not sure I'm getting the " I love running" feeling so want to get that..... I had been doing every second night running but once I hit week7 run 3 I took 2 days rest between maybe should try every second night again!!! O there is a lot of trying out in thisππ.. On to week9run 1ππππ,,, ππ
π3 more runs to go!!!: Oh I'm tired tonight... - Couch to 5K
π3 more runs to go!!!
Well done - if you can run 30 minutes there is simply nothing to fear now. Enjoy week 9 and take it slow
Well done you, I'm a run behind you at the mo,next week is going to throw me out of sync as I'm away with work. You have that badge well in sight...looking forward to see that you have graduated. I think I'll be a week or so behind you if not more.
You are doing so. great. Dont worry about distance or quickening up yet, they can be worked on after GRADUATION π. See how close you are? Just one more pushπππΌ
Slow down, you move too fast.. got to make this journey last now... Hey, that reminds me of a song
Just slow down, no need to push yourself too far at this stage, the time for speed and distance can come after the big day! I know we are all different and all like to challenge ourselves but it is supposed to be an enjoyable journey. You will reach Graduation and then, well you can do whatever you fancy, silly things, sensible, distance, speed and stamina.. all out there...
Maybe the, "I love running", feeling will find you, if, just if, you take a tad more time to enjoy it
I love this quotation,
"If you're always racing to the next moment, what happens to the one you're in?"
Hmm, I need to take note of that myself right now !
Onward and upward, but slowly
You will get there.. and the journey goes on...
Wow! Look at you fly!!
You started ages after me and yet here you are just 3 runs away from graduating. Give yourself a big pat on the back...just don't injure yourself in the process!
All the best for your final 3 runs.
Don't worry I'm doing it at a slow pace & the lovely soak in the bath fair helpsπ been good at stretching after runs & I must admit once on the continuous runs I think week 8 I did have 2 days rest between runs but did manage last run yesterday week9 run1 with just 1 run! My only probably is I can't sleep after my night runs but I prefer running then! Lee I think we can say we are getting into this runningππππππ keep going & enjoy Phyllis
