Post graduation run, and a cautionary tale...

Off I went for my first run since graduating on Saturday, I made a really good start, legs felt good, and I had a good, steady pace. Then the lace of one of my trainers came undone, gah!!! I thought it would be more sensible to stop and re-tie it, rather than risk tripping over it and hurting myself, but it was so frustrating! So, if any newbies are reading this, my advice to you would be check your laces are tied properly before going out...

I ran with MapMyRun! Distance: 5.53km, time: 36:18, pace: 6:34min/km, speed: 9.15km/h.

EDIT: I can't quite believe that I'm frustrated at only covering 5.5k! I had to cut short my run by a few minutes as I go out on a Tuesday evening and I needed time to turn around before going out again.

9.15km/h is a very impressive speed - I only manage 7.5km/hr and that's me going fast! You're doing great - don't worry!
