I had my graduation speech ready in my head trying to share the journey I've been through. But decided just to go with: I DID IT. Last evening.

I. DID. IT.

PS long version will come later. πŸ˜†

Feels great, amazing. Who would have thought few months ago...

I decided to challenge myself for this 'last' run and go for distance rather than time. 5K done in (slow) 40 mins. Could have done even better, but why chance it. Speed comes later.

My very first post on here a couple of months ago (seems like years!) I was debating on whether to leave my treadmill and go outside for w7 r2 and you were one of those who encouraged me to do so.

I just read all your posts again and it's amazing how far we have both come in such a short time.

Again well done and thanks for the support. What are your plans now? Increasing times or distances? I'm gradually working up to 10k week by week.

Part of me was in doubt that I'll ever see that badge next to my name. But there it is, shiny and wonderful, my precious. πŸ˜„
