First ever post.

Just completed Week5 Run3. Not sure if it really counts on the treadmill tho. Hoping to take it outside soon. Is there a big difference?

It counts... oh it counts! Loads of folk on here use the inside gear! They have no other option... and yes.. i think you will find that there is.. those who know, will give you loads of advice...but very well done!

First ever post? Week 5 run 3? You're a hero already! Of course it counts. It definitely counts :) There are folk who prefer inside and folk who prefer outside for loads of different reasons. I found treadmill running slightly less taxing but a lot less interesting. Grass was the easiest on my legs, as in they didn't ache as much but I find I tire less easily on pavement. The best thing about outside is the smells and the breeze and the freedom!

Thanks McFitty. Think I will try grass first.

There's large fields nearby which I can run around

Of course it counts! Could you have done it 6 weeks ago?

No I suppose your right about that.

Even if I have to go back slightly it's all progress
