Afternoon Spoons,

And well done you!!

Good quality running shoes are a must. Especially if bought from an expereinced running shop where the sales staff know what they are talking about!!

Well done you getting to wk5,🙂maybe I need new trainers because I like the sound of running on air . I got a little blister on my heel doing my w2r2 . Think you have motivated me to go shopping 👟👟

Well done on hitting week 5! I've just done w6r3 (can't actually believe I've actually ran for 25mins). Going to do the same and treat myself to new trainers....any advice or tips as not sure where to start and don't want to spend a fortune! 😀

Hi Carrie well done for finishing week 6. Shoes - do your research. Figure out what type of gate and feet you've got (over or under pronated) by going to a sports shop that does gate analysis, though placing your wet feet on the bathroom floor will also give you a good idea. There are some good posts on this forum about gate analysis experiences so have a look so you know what to expect. I'm afraid I don't know enough about shoes to comment on whether cheaper ones are as good as the expensive ones.

Looking forward to seeing a picture of your new shoes :-)

Well done for both w5r1 and the breaking the seal on the new shoes. They look fast!
