Well I've finally done it and hit 5k this morning at W8R2. Gorgeous morning with mist rising up out of the dykes at the side of the road and it was a beautiful sunrise. This is what it's all about - getting out there and enjoying all that nature has to offer and getting fitter, stronger and healthier at the same time. C25K has changed my life. Thanks to everyone on here for their support ππ»ππ»ππ»
What a wonderful feeling it was to see that I had hit 5k. I feel so proud and so enjoyed eating my crumpets with a huge smile on my face when I got back πππ

Getting a bit faster only seems to have come together over the last two runs really. It's a great feeling when you run past where you got up to over the weeks and that gives you confidence. Even though they say flu jabs don't have any effect, I think they definitely do. Good luck and Bring on week 9!
It felt really good this morning but it's a flattish route and there was no wind. Average pace was 7 mins 26 secs per km. hope you have a good one this afternoon πππ
Just did it, but couldn't catch up. You were too far in the distance. Only managed to get 7.47 because of the new park (my usual closed at 6). There were quite a few of hills and slopes and combining that with mud and wet leaves I have my excuse. π
Absolutely. Hats off to you. I run on Tarmac so will be interesting to see how I go on a park run hopefully at the end of October. Going to Greece for two weeks on Friday (doing W9R3 early that morning) but hope to keep up the running while I'm away. ππ€π³
