Well this is Day 2 of Week 1. Getting back into it. Have decided to do a repeat of each week, so my journey will take 18 weeks. I feel this is more suited to me and therefore doable. Enjoyed running in the rain this morning, nice and cooling.

Welcome Cathy. It's important to make the program work for you - sounds like you're doing just that.

That sounds lovely! Keep it up all the best!

Well done. Best to make the plan work for you. Every time you go out and run whatever distance is progress and repeat if you have to as others have said.

It doesn't matter how long it takes, getting there is the goal. I've been at this for nearly 2 years - an ankle injury and being diagnosed with asthma has held me back - but W7 run 3 completed this evening with a bonus of an additional 2 minutes running and I am so pleased. My celebratory G&T might not have been the best recovery drink, but I don't care - I'm so close.

Take it slow, listen to your body and enjoy the process. If you have to miss a week, drop back a week and start again. You will make it, and it will feel so good.

It was wet this morning wasn't it? But, not unpleasant... I managed a damp 8K....slow, and steady :)

Take your time...and most importantly...enjoy the journey:) x
