racetecresults.com/results....

Here are the full results from today's Triathlon, I show this to hope it encourages others to have a go at something and help improve their lifestyle. I followed C25Ks plan last February in 2015 and completed it in April. Anybody who doubts themselves should follow this plan to the book, it works. I would never have believed I could lose 4 & half stone since March 2014 and go on to have done the events I have done. I've ran 60 park runs, completed three Triathlons and a half marathonand two 10k's I'm no spring chicken I'm 53, do not doubt yourself, you can achieve whatever it is you want to achieve, if its weight loss, then use myfitnesspal and use this with C25K and you can go on to do things you could only have ever dreamed of. Stick with it, have belief, you can do it. I have also met three really nice people from this site to complete and different Triathlon, it was great to meet Chris & her husband today (poppypug) and I have met on two occasion amateurwriter (Siobhon) who herself as gained so much confidence from completing this C25K.

I don't contribute to this forum that often these day's. I write this in the hope to persuade those who think they fail or finding it hard to carry on and have belief. I would never have envisaged myself capable only 2 years ago.

Pool without doubt, open water still scares me lol

Ha ha ! Don't blame you on that one :-)

It's a pity they couldn't lane the pool off or something for the triathletes isn't it ? Maybe it was something to do with the numbers or time restrictions maybe ? xxx

The pool was just for Triathletes, thats what surprised me to see him doing it

Oh fancy that ! I always imagined a triathlete to do the front crawl for some reason, definitely not the backstroke ! :-)

Ah well whatever floats ya boat I suppose :-) xxx
