Jog in a jumper

Week 2 completed. Alas alone. Hubby is still hobbling with joggers knees ( Drs next week I feel) so I set out alone between downpours. It was a shock to the system running with rain in the air and the sea buffeting the coast. It felt good, even with the wind halving my pace. Who cares. Week three awaits.

I much prefer running in the rain to the heat we have been having! I'm thinking of getting a running waterproof jacket, if such a thing exists! I hope that hubby's knees improve.

Well done. A shame that it had to be done alone but rest is most definitely best if there are issues! Rain is great but wind is a nightmare! I love the ides of running along the seafront but occasionally I turn onto the promenade and instantly speed drops to nothing (it wasn't very fast to begin with) and heart rate soars! Not complaining though, all runner-character building! :)

That sounds like my dream run! Sea, rain, ah bliss! You can the wind though!

I am lucky but it may look a little different come the winter!

Well done - guess with a change in temp we have to get used to this - although sadly unlike you I don't have the sea nearby 😀 Good luck with week 3!
