Christmas Jumper Run Done!

5K run (with a little bit of walking) done! The bling is very festive and gratefully received. However, I need some advice - I am having trouble uploading the evidence of my run from MapMyRun. Unfortunately I don't have Facebook, which apparently would be easier! I have been told to take a screenshot of my evidence and submit it to the virtual runner site but it doesn't want to accept it. A very nice person from virtual runners has been trying to help me but to no avail. Looks like I will have to book an appointment with my son ( haha, he does live with me but don't see him that often!) to see if he can help his technophobe elderly mum - unless anyone else has got any ideas! Register on Strava... and then you can upload your runs... and use as evidence?

Thanks Old Floss -I'll try Strava. I already have the medal but I wanted to to prove that I had done the run - which virtualrunners ask you to do. I'm putting more effort into trying to upload evidence than I did for the run!

I use Mapmyrun Kim then upload it to Strava using the tcx button. Hubby does it for me though so maybe your son could help you import the file onto your Strava account using a pc.

Thanks Jan - I think I will have to let my son have a go. Although, as a strident feminist I should be able to do it myself! But, we have to give the men something to do!!

Good old son - he does have his uses! It took him all of about 2 seconds to submit my evidence for the run. I will really have to pay attention so that I can do it for myself next time!

If you do go on Strava Kim, you could join the Nhs c25k club on there ( the one with about 235 members ) where you can share your runs with some of your friends on here...

If you take a screen shot of the MMR screens with the run details on, save in images, then you can easily upload to the page. I know this is too late now but may be helpful in the future x
