Week 5 accomplished :-).

I went out this morning with Week 5 run 3 rolling in my ears thinking maybe I should do run 2 again, then Laura said 'I know it's a big jump, but have faith'. So, I thought 'ok just see how far you get' and I did the whole 20 minutes. So chuffed with myself.

it was a great morning for running, cooler than of late, a bit of a breeze and a tiny bit of drizzle when I first went out. but that disappeared quickly. I did my usual route so out of the drive, turn right and follow the path through the estate (very modern houses) past the school and up on to the main road. 8 minutes run is from the school onto the main road and down to the next corner. Today in 20 minutes I covered that, all the way round the next street which goes in a big loop til you get back to where you started, back up past the school to a little cut through by the river and around my estate and back up to the school before I stopped running and could walk again.

So two weeks ago I was panicking about running 5 minutes, now look what I can do. Thank you Laura; I will continue to have faith :-).

Well done. 20 minutes seems like forever but every time one of these challenges comes along, somehow we manage to overcome them. Onwards and upwards.
