I'm really pleased with how week one went. On Friday, day 3, I went to the optician with hubby for his eye test as his vision in 1 eye had nearly gone. The afternoon was spent in the eye hospital a&e. They should be able to help but there will be another appointment in the next 2 weeks. We got home at 6.30pm and I got ready for my run. It really helped. Out in the fresh air, views towards the South Downs and the sea. When I got home a lot of the tension and worry had been left on the trail. Photo on its side but don't know how to change it!βΊοΈ

Good job, getting through week one! It's one of the hardest. You'll surprise yourself each week as you progress to longer and longer runs. This programme really does work! π Sorry to hear about your husband's sight. Hopefully there is something to be done. π
Congratulations on your first week completed and good luck for the rest of the journey. You have a beautiful part of the world to run in. We give just returned from a week at Graffham Wood near Petworth - it's gorgeous running country π
Sorry about your husbands sight and I hope the treatment helps.

Thank youπ

Well done and a beautiful place to run - and great that the running is helping with the stresses of life π Good luck with the next week

Well done for getting through Week 1! Running really is a therapy of sorts, it's amazing how connected mind and body can be without us realising it. Sorry to hear of your difficulties but how lucky your husband is to have you supporting him. Looks like you have a lovely place to run too. Onwards to week 2 for you!

Onwards. It's amazing how often you can outrun your cares!

What a wonderful sky to run under. Hope it works out for your husband's sight. It's amazing what eye departments can do.
