Done it!!

I'm trying not to look ahead but keep peeping and feeling a bit surprised how much stiffer next week looks... I have never felt like I couldn't complete any of the runs, but it's going up a total of 7 running minutes next week!! Eek!!

When I was on the programme, I thought every next week looked totally impossible. Just take one run at a time, take it nice and slow and relax, myou can do it if I did!!

Brilliant well done you, I know it is difficult not to look at what is coming but it can be daunting, take each run as it comes you will do this and if you have a 'wobble' just look back and see how far you have come since day 1 😊

But... percentage wise, the running isn't increasing as much as it did from week 2 to week 3 so you'll be fine! :) (that's so easy for me to say, when I had to repeat week 3)!! Slow and steady. Slower if need be. Your body is ready. Go for it! :)

But wasn't it a total of 9 minutes running in both week 2 and week 3? Only one minute up from the 8 minutes in week 1? While it's going to be 16 minutes total in Week 4?

I am placing my trust in Laura!! But it still seems like a leap!!

You can do this, just try Laura ;)

I do... :) When my mp3 packed up during W3R1 it was so much harder without her when I was just running using the timer on my fone instead.. So glad to have her back when I got a new mp3!! :)

That is it then, just listen to Laura and she will see you right.

Every week, I thought, I can't do that, it's an amazing program. I look forward to watching your progress.

You'll be fine. As e wry one said just do the run in front of you. I found it helped me not to look ahead but once I had achieved run 3 of the week I would then look at the week ahead and it felt more doable that way your doing well keep at it :-)

Thank you!!! I think you're right and it would have been better not to look, but now that I have I will just keep putting one foot in front of the other and trust Laura!

That is a lovely answer - I have not found each run that painful, but it is certainly true that I wouldn't have known in advance that I could do it! So Laura knows my capabilities better than I do myself! :)

I start every week thinking that I can't do it, and end every week having done it. As everyone says, take it slowly and have faith in yourself. Laura will be there beside you all the way. I find it helpful not to think at all about the distance she has invited me to run, but just to get on with it. Sometimes the minutes drag, other times I am surprised when she tells me to slow down. The mental challenge is often the barrier to break. You'll be fine :).

Well done - you are doing brilliantly. It always looks daunting but the programme works and you are ready even if you don't feel you may be....That Laura knows what she is doing :-)

Thank you so much for yr words! I am going to do it - no question about it! But nice to have encouraging words :)

I felt the same way and was a bit daunted by W4, but found I could do it and was really chuffed with the increase.

Oh that is reassuring to hear! I know if I do it OK I will be really excited at how much more running I'll have done..because I remember that Week 3 felt like so much more running but was actually the same amount as Week 2...!!

Well done you!!
