So it wasn't far or fast but I managed to run for 10 minutes and my calf has survived. It was such a glorious morning that I couldn't resist - and it has been very nearly 3 weeks of resting since my last attempt.
I must have looked a sight mincing along with fairy footsteps - and because of my peculiar gait my good leg started to complain - but who cares. I'm back in the game!

Glad to hear you have been able to run again. Do take care, it's oh so easy to do more than you should and set yourself back. Going back too soon turned what probably would have been a 2-3 week recovery into a 6 week one for me. On the bright side, I have been out for 3 shuffles now (a sort of half speed walk, half jog) and the physio cleared me today to try an actual run this weekend.
'There she was just running down the street' ππΌππΌππΌ Gently she floats on fairy footsteps. John Wayne minced I am sure you flittered! So happy that you are off the IC and taking it slowly.
ππΌππΌππΌ Waved to you as I trundled (coast traffic) along A64 to do Mum's shopping in York, gone East to wave at you from the top of Wolds before heading back to the flatlands, so will wave again tomorrow.
So glad to hear you're back out there. Fairy footsteps sound delightfully light. Maybe I need fairy footstep training rather than stealth running do I stop startling the bunnies ππ
