I just Googled it and it seems similar to Park run but not as widespread. It says on the blurb that you can walk, jog or run but looking through some of the times I think some obviously have electric roller skates!

Yes they are fast aren't they. I have registered anyway because there are two near me and on Sundays which may be more convenient.

Not for a few weeks though. We are going away but I hope to fit in a few runs.

I am going to try a Park Run recommended by some (real runner) friends, both on IC at moment!. It is not my nearest but is bigger and less muddy. The local one seems to be predominantly club runnners, the next nearest includes two steep bits which I am not ready to tackle just yet.

Always best to set yourself achievable goals. Mine would definitely not include hills or club runners ;)

Or excess mud! The nearest to me can be muddy in dry spells, I know from dog walks in the past

Well my wristband arrived today so I guess I have to do at least one run!

I think I will try a 2K one after my holiday, not because I think I cannot do 5K (I know I can ☺) but because the fastest times seem to be a bit challenging for me in a field of only about 50 runners.

If I turn up for the short run and they all seem friendly and welcoming then I can decide to do 5K instead.

If not, then I can do 2K but not bother to go back again.

Not what you're looking for?
