Couch to 5K

Speed podcast

So after graduating, I have done 2 parkruns, the first a very slow and hilly 43 mins, the second a flat 35 mins, 8 mins faster...woohoo! Plus have done some more 5k's on my own....finally feel ready to step it up a bit and tried the speed podcast yesterday...really loved it! It was so hard and had to literally stop to breathe after the first few fast runs but got slightly easier as it progressed...still had to walk instead of jog in some of the slower intervals but I really felt a high during the faster intervals.....want to do it again soon (on a cooler day!)

So to all recent graduates, I really recommend trying this...I haven't done the stamina one yet, any feedback on this?

I've just downloaded the speed podcast to my iPod. It does sound pretty fast - hoping to do it first thing tomorrow :-)

Hmm not sure now. Boyfriend said I am not strong enough to do intervals so soon.. :-/

I'm no way strong enough and I had to stop to breathe/pant/half die after the first run but I carried on and enjoyed it...got to start somewhere! Leave him at home and do your own thing:)

Stamina is my fave, I bore on and on and on about it here! I use it often to get me home if I'm struggling at the end of a longer run.
