Advice please on w4

Hi, this is my first post although I have been following the forum for the last few weeks and have been really impressed by how supportive it is. My question is: I did w4r3 today although I have been laid low with a viral illness this week. I really wanted to get out there and it went OK. However it had been 5days since I did w4r2. All you experienced runners: should I repeat a run or just go on to w5?

I'd move onto week 5. 5 days off isn't too big of a deal, you should be fine. If it doesn't go as planned, just repeat. Happy running

If you managed R3 alright, I would simply move on to week 5. You'll be fine!

You managed it . If it were me I'd crack on with the next one. Five days is ok. But if you want to ease back in you can repeat. It is your programme to manage to suit you. There is no right or wrong way as long as you do it. All the best.

I agree with the others, if you managed w4r3 OK, then you're ready for w5. Just take things nice and steady and I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck :)

I left months between runs (though I don't advise it). I'd go for it and move to week 5.

w5 r1 is definately the one to go for. If I'd waited till I was ready, I would never have gone past w1. Wk 5 looks challenging, but I think most people will agree that it's a lot easier than it looks. Good luck

Thanks. It looks daunting but I'll go for it tomorrow!
