Morning all.

β€’5 Replies

It's a lovely morning and so pleased I went out for a run.

It's week 9, run 2 and I managed it reasonably well. However, during the warm down walk after, I felt a tiny bit nauseous . A quick swig of water put it to rights, with no issues after. Any ideas what might cause the mild sticky feeling?

Keep on keeping on

Lou xx

Hi Lou, not sure about the sicky feeling, I've not had that do you usually run early morning? How close are you to graduating!! πŸ˜€

I was probably a bit dehydrate, but only one more to do before Graduation.

I experienced that early on when I went out in higher temperatures. I now make sure I drink water and have 1/2 banana before I go and have been much better. Only slight blip when I got very hot again and had no water with me. You could also be overdoing it a little so maybe try slowing down a bit.

Thank you, yes I think you are correct in that it was warming up a bit, I hadn't drunk any water before leaving. I did push that bit extra at the end, I need to employ a little more patience methinks,

Best regards

Lou 😊

Yes I get a sick feeling when I run from time to time - normally when I push harder than I should I think. I always run on empty - heard it's better for fat burning. I could never run with food and water sloshing about, that in itself would make me nauseous.
