Just a quick "hello" to say I'm still around and still managing my three 30mins runs per week. Life got in the way last week, so had to face the disappointment of not being able to go out when I'd planned. I never, ever thought I'd get "upset" at not running!
I've had a good look at my stats since W1R1 and the steps-per-minute have been consistent as have the minutes-per-mile. Not too fussed at the fact I may not be getting faster; I'm just ecstatic that I can actually run for 30 mins with the odd 38 mins!! I'll fit in a 5k at the end of the week and report back.
Keep up the good work

I wondered where you’d got to 😂. Life does that, but the great thing is whatever life throws at you you’re better equipped to deal with and running does burn stresses off when you get back out there again. Go get that 5k.
I know you will, there’s no doubt about it. I have all these gran plans for my running, at the start they were dreams, at graduation they became plans, we’ve changed a lot this last few months.
That’s still a bit scary! I’ll let you know if I can keep up with the kids at junior parkrun tomorrow, then maybe! I was down for barcode scanning, but they just changed me on to tailwaker.
I've had a similar week this week it was my partners 50th birthday, so we went out for a meal on what has come to be my long run day! I was gutted at not being able to run and it put my whole routine out for the week!
The meal was lovely though and my body is thankful for a couple of extra rest days this week.
