Week 3 Run 2

Week 3 Run 2

Done and decided on yet another route. The thing I really don't understand is that why is it when you come to a running section, this run it's the 3 minute section I find myself at the bottom of a hill? Push on and get it done, and feel much better for beating Geography, which was always a rubbish subject at school.

Took a picture this morning as well - definitely getting lighter.

  • well done! and great picture :) I love running in the early morning, it's just the getting up bit thats difficult lol

  • I thought I ran first thing in the morning but what time was that picture taken? I suspect you are back home before I even get up. lol. Well done

  • Blueboots it was taken at about 6:30. I'm up at 5:45 and out of the door no later than 6:10. I need to back by 6:45 as my eldest tends to wake up at about 6:30.

So early doors is the way forward!

  • The pictures will change as the routes change and the mornings start getting lighter.

  • I was right. I leave about 7,10am to head for the woods and sometimes I even run in the afternoon :O

  • ha, thats funny. My runs were always like that. The amount of time I spent trying to devise alternate routes so my walk was not on the flats and the runs commencing at the bottom of a hill and finishing at the top of a hill!

Never worked. Took me along time to figure out that as I live at the top of a hill some how, somewhere uphill had to happen unless I run 896 times round the living room 8-)

  • Ok I'll take some comfort that I'm still snuggly while you are out... my argument with self doesn't even start until you get back in the door! :) I've got me an incline on my route - so far it appears on a walking bit (quite relieved about that at the moment...)

I do have a proper hill in the opposite direction to the way i leave the house, thinking of making that the brisk walk warm up part, then start run from the top... Does mean I'd be running up the main street though...
