Not even a practice really. I've just been out to do w8r1, but unfortunately Pretty Pup was *really* not in the mood, apparently. She dug her heels in and stopped dead about every 30-60 seconds of running, so I gave up after 5 mins and came home. I'll try again this evening if I can - but probably on my own!
It's frustrating - I was trying to battle my own gremlins, and was finding that hard enough without the biggest one of all being attached to the lead!

Maybe, she was on 'interval training' back at he start, did you discuss this with her?🐶 Before the run 🐶🐶🐶?
You were out and had your own little intervals, just preparing for your run later - well done!
Tie the gremlins up before you go out later and give the pup a treat! Have a nice cup of tea or beverage of choice ☕️. Looking forward to hearing of your next foray. 🙅🏼
Thanks for all the encouragement! I resisted the lure of the couch, and since coming back have spent an hour and a bit chopping and bagging up the shrubs which last week's failed 'gardener' experiment produced. I can take them to the tip later, then mow the lawn, so even without a run it's still being a reasonably energetic day (by my holiday standards!).
Hoping to get out this evening though... I'll keep you posted!
So very true! When she's in the mood she's very helpful, and I'm sure she's a major factor in my recent improvement in pace. But yeah, whatever her reason, it's just not happening today.
I've spent the time since my non-run doing garden things, and it's got warmer than the forecast predicted, so putting my feet up now. Furry Face is fast asleep on the floor at my feet, as though she's exhausted!
