One more run...

After 4 months I'm nearly there.😎 I have pottered through the nhs podcasts with Laura and Mark (my husband) with no hope at the beginning beyond getting out and being able to run a little bit. Fast forward to today and I can (slowly) run for 30 minutes and have proved not only that I can do it without taking Mark but also today (too hot outside) that I can run for the whole 30 minutes without stopping on the treadmill.

I have run in Belgium, Germany and on the seafront in Llandudno and have managed to extend to 5k a few times with bits of walking with my fastest being 46.46. I have signed up for the Great South 5k in October (Mark is doing the 10mile run) and health permitting am confident I will be able to do it without the walking bits by then.

So, on Saturday I will be graduating. I won't be able to do a parkrun as we have other things on but will try 5k again with a parkrun on the horizon.

As many people here have said... If I can do it, absolutely anyone can!
