I want to start training for the c210k and the second run has something about doing a tempo run.. Can someone please explain to me what this is and how do I figure out what mine is!?!

Yes, that is what I am finding just reading them...

Think of it as 'comfortably hard'. As IannodaTruffe recommends the paces kicked out by the calculator are great - pay particular attention to how slow the long run should be. Good luck with whichever way you choose to get there. There is also a bridge to 10k forum you may want to check out

The simple answer is it's a pace you can only just maintain for twenty minutes. 5 minutes warm-up and the same cool-down makes it a 30 minute workout. It's a great way to get a buzz!
