Week 8 run 1, morning runs are easier!

Is it just me and my quirky body or do others find a big difference running in the morning rather than any other time of the day. Okay I have to drag myself out of bed but when I get going it is so much easier! It rained nearly the whole time but I still finished feeling fine!

Absolutely I'm totally a morning person unless we are talking disco then I'm up for dancing all night ๐Ÿ˜€

I'm with you Swnymor , I have to run in the mornings, or else I'd never do it.

Then you're set up for the whole day. If I didn't, I'd be subconsciously kidding myself into not bothering.

Early bird catches the worm :)

Definitely mornings! It's cooler and sets you up for the day. You can walk around with a little smug smile, thinking "I ran 5k this morning" and throw it nonchalantly into the conversation! No seriously, I don't ever seem to get round to running in the evening, so it's morning or never๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I also completed my first run for week 8 yesterday! I wouldn't be at week 8 of I didn't run mornings ๐Ÿ˜‚. I need to get it done first thing or I'll be too caught up in other things and feelings as the day progresses.

I am older, and stiffer so I generally don'-t run in the mornings but late afternoon or evening when my legs have been on the move all day. โ˜บ

Hmm, I'm 56, I think I work in reverse to you! Mine have probably worn out by late afternoon! :)

I'm 58, going on 59 ๐Ÿ˜Š Been out with the dog round the fields this morning. Just got back, having a swift coffee and heading out for a run. Wouldn't you know, it's just started tipping it down. Seizing the momentum from this morning's walk, I'm off! Got to keep those legs ticking over ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
