To run or snot?

Illness has struck. First cold in donkeys. Everything hurts and I feel like death. What's the advice about running with the plague? Power through or admit defeat? 😷

I would say if you feel that bad: 'Everythings achey and feel like death' then you need to rest; another rest day or two is not going to hurt you.

It's not admitting defeat, better to be safe than sorry, you don't want to force your body to run anx end up hurting yourself X

I thought as much. Really annoyed as I haven't been ill for years (constitution of an ox). Amazing though as before starting this malarkey, I would have found any excuse to not do any exercise! 😊

What is the quote...? "...when you worry more about not being able to run, than how bad you feel..."!

You are a runner.. nothing will change that... rest up and start to feel better.

You know it makes sense... Big Hugx

You can run when snotty as the running helps make you really snotty so you can take a massive hankie and have good blows all the way round. If you feel like it that is. Not surprisingly you feel like shite, so rest up and go out after a day or so of rest. Run up a hill as that seems to produce more gunk for you to get rid of. Quicker cure that way 😊

That makes sense. Although probably not a great spectator sport πŸ˜† I'll give it a bash tomorrow

I've got a bit of a cough at the moment and, although I am not snotty, the run tonight did take my mind off feeling grotty and it helped to sweat it out a bit. If you feel like you can run I would say go for it x
