After a bit of disaster at the end last week. I was full if beans for today. Well I nailed it! 30 minutes of running non stop. Only 2 minutes more but felt more.
All being well I will complete the graduation runs on Saturday. Then onto the next stages.

I hope I nail it too off to do my first of week 9 later today. Last week also not great for me till the 3rd run so not expecting it to be easy today. Just want to keep going and achieve it.
Last week run 3 I had to attempt twice. 1st time (Friday) I did 20 minutes before a coughing fit swallowing a drink the wrong way down and then slipping on a wet branch on the ground. but Sunday morning did the full 28 minutes.
Run 2 completed this morning. Decided that I would try and do different routes all this week. More road work than fields with a couple of inclines as well, just to push it a little bit more. Not big hills but slowly rising.
Slower time but finally got a 5K time of just a few seconds over 41 minutes so I now have a reference mark. Felt good afterwards as well.
Tried to do W9R3 on Sunday a new route and Lauraless.
It turned out I still need the gentle voice of Laura. Managed to do only about 25 minutes to my own music but stopped after starting to get to cold and not being able to see properly (wear glasses) from the misty rain.
So this morning I set out again to the gentle voice of Laura and determination to succeed. The results were to me staggering. I did a reported 5K in a fraction over 36 minutes according to Strava. I also got personal records for 1K, 1 and 2 mile distances as well with an average pace of around 12 minutes.
Not going to claim graduation until the end of this weekend coming when I have done at least 2 more 30 minute runs. Still be within my schedule as I wanted to be doing 30 minutes 3 times a week by the end of July.
