Legs of jelly...

Week 6 run 3 and I'm defeated. But am I down hearted? Well, yes a bit. Too hot, leaden legs and not really in the right frame of mind. Need Marathon Man (henceforth known as MM) as a pacer/motivator/moving target methinks. On the plus side, I've probably generated enough new neurons to compensate for the prosecco I am about to drink. Bottoms up everyone

You have finished week 6 so you are a runner. Laura says this at the end of week 6 and she knows best! Well done and enjoy a glass of prosecco. You have earned it ( one glass not the bottle!)☺

Would habe been a waste of bubbles otherwise!🍸☺

As you say, frame of mind is key. It doesn't matter how ready and able your body is, once those gremlins get their gnashers going it's a devil of a job to shut them up. But you went out for a run and a bad run is better than no run at all.

Yep, prosecco's essential after a hard running week I always think. We've watered ours down with homemade elderflower cordial so neurons are safe 😉 I'm a week ahead of you and week 7 felt like it all came together so good luck to you for next week.

☺ think I'm going to redo it as I walked part of the way. Mind you, I still ran for 12 actual minutes in one go. That's almost to the bus stop for goodness sake 😆

You'll nail it next time and be able to celebrate with another glass of prosecco!
