The two-pinter, full of lovely tropical squash is for an hour or two before my run, the big coffee mug is to get me out of bed and to the run, my water bottle is for the car on the way home from my run.

And HA to those who thought this was going to be about technical gadgets! :-).

Funny! Sometimes I wish I could run in the mornings, but I get up at 5am anyway and can't face getting up at 3:30 or 4am. I drink coffee all day (including before a run). Otherwise my other "essential gadgets" are water, a headband, iPhone and ear buds, and a tissue.

Ah, I might have misled you there - I run in the evenings not the mornings, but if I don't have a cup of coffee then nothing is going to happen that day :-).

Got it. Yes, I run after work in the evenings. I know what you mean about the coffee. I need it to keep going too.

You got me aswell! Don't have any of those things yet (well apart from the big litre mug, obviously nicked from Germany at some point!). Only drink coffee in emergencies (to suppress hunger or when I'm really tired) and haven't got a water bottle yet - but am thinking about it!

My essentials are iPhone, flipbelt, baseball cap and dry case if rain is threatened. Oh and door key!

Ha ha ! You had us all fooled there !

Yes that mug has come from a Beer keller ! They had one in Leeds and that's what they used to dish out the lager in . Huge things they were :-)

Are those your drawings at the back Yatesy ? Theyre very good ;-) xxx
