Spam and Saturday 25th June

Hopefully we will all wake up tomorrow with a clean site but I'm pinning this post just in case.

Tomorrow I have one of my busiest working days of the year. We run an outdoor bowls club and it has been hired for a wedding. I have a 16 hour working day with limited breaks.

Healthunlocked have kindly said that they will give me support for tomorrow as I don't have the time before I leave to sit down and delete posts, so they will take up the slack if it's needed.

I know this is frustrating and annoying believe me I feel it too. It breaks my heart to see our site being abused in this way every morning. I know healthunlocked are working tirelessly to eliminate this and hopefully there will be a resolution soon.

Thanks for your support and help RfC. But I really think HU should be dealing with this at source and not leaving an administrator to sort it all out. It's started on other forums aswell. It's not fair to expect you to delete 100s of spam mails every morning (and during the day) - the techies need to stop them getting through.

I'm really hoping they get to the bottom of it really soon, not only is it hard work it will taint all the positives we have made in to getting people fit and healthy. If I was to come as a newbie and see everything I wouldn't come back I think.

Thank you all for all your support, I really do appreciate it. HU, JuicyJu and me will all be working to keep this site as clear as we can. Unfortunately we have to sleep and that's when they get their hooks in. The indication from HU is they are working really hard to get it sorted but it might not be done over this weekend so we might have to hang tight a little while longer but we promise will all work to keep this as clear as possible.
