Well I did it. I felt more tired today than I thought I would, but I think that is because I slept longer as I didn't have to get up for the school run. Half way through I had to pause the treadmill (I still kept moving though, running up and down stairs) as I had to check on my son who has Down Syndrome. He is old enough now to occupy himself, but I can't switch off! All was ok and I carried on. I think i could have ran longer than 30 mins but I couldn't relax! All being well I will have things planned better for my next run so i can be more focused. All in all today didn't go too bad, physically I was ok but mentally it was a struggle.
W9r1 done. Phew!: Well I did it. I felt more... - Couch to 5K
W9r1 done. Phew!
Well done and only 2 more runs until you graduate now.
I am visualizing myself with a big grin on my face after Fridays run lol
Well done. I know what you mean about being more tired. I didn't have to work today (teacher) and it was harder in a way to motivate myself to run as I didn't have to time table it in. Only two more now then what? HAve you got any plans for graduation?
If the air pollen isn't too bad I would like to treat myself to a scenic/lakeside run. It is a bit monotonous on the treadmill! Also I would like some running clothes and/or new trainers depends on budget though. I will then need to fix a new goal as i am not running 5k yet (barely 3km), at least I am running 30 mins and thats a good feeling!
The last couple of years the tree pollen seems to be affecting me. When I was younger it didn't bother me at all! I fancy a go at our local park run, so i think that will be my next goal. I know I've a way to go yet as there is a big difference between 3km and 5km!
I have always had a tree pollen allergy and this usually lasts from March to September. I will use the antihistamines and inhaler before I go out and give it a whirl. Not until after graduation though.
