I've just completed the dreaded week 5 r3. Ok my back is hurting, but I did it. Got more than slightly annoyed by the woman on the radio this morning talking about getting people more active by immediately going onto half marathons...never and I never wanted to when I could knock off 10k in under an hour

I wonder if that's because of the weight loss programme on bbc1 last night in which a lady was challenged to run a half marathon with 5 weeks notice, after only running for a few weeks. She did it, but I thought to myself that doing C25K would have been wiser for someone who had previously done no exercise, and was trying to loose weight.
